Pupil Voice
The School Council is a really important part of our school community. Each year a child from year 1 to year 6 classes is voted for by their peers to represent their views and help to make decisions within the school.
Children are voted for in a democratic process that involves them sharing why they want to be part of the school council. The class then votes for their selected representative and this is shared with the whole school.
We meet regularly to discuss a range of issues and are involved in the judging of whole school events such as the annual carnival mask design. We also organise charity events including Macmillan coffee afternoon to support national charities which are demonstrate our Christian values and creates a real sense of pride. We also enjoy organising fundraising for school projects to enhance our provision for all the pupils to enjoy.
Each year we strive to become more involved in different aspects of school life and are always open to suggestions.

Macmillan Coffee & Cake : October 2025
Please see the message below from Mrs Edwards, and our slideshow of this fantastic event!:
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Macmillan coffee afternoon. Thank you for your very generous donations of cakes and biscuits and for coming along and helping us to raise an amazing £315.50 for such a great charity. It was lovely to see so many of you. A huge thank you to our amazing team captains and student council for their hard work. They proved to be great waiters and waitresses and truly enjoyed our first charity fundraiser. I couldn't be prouder of them. They were all just great.
I am already looking forward to our next project which we will be sharing with you shortly.
Kind regards
Mrs Paula Edwards
